Ducks To Face Saint Mary's On Senior Day

EUGENE, Ore. -- The Oregon Ducks (6-7, 1-3 MPSF) host the Saint Mary’s Gaels (3-7, 1-4 MPSF) in their final home regular season game of the year on Sunday afternoon. Sunday’s game will honor the six Oregon seniors: Kate Cathell, Dominique Christiansen, Salliebeth Finnegan, Ashley Inman, Maggie Kovacs and Bridget Morrison.

Oregon vs. Saint Mary's - Quick Notes
• Oregon scored a season-high 18 goals en route to a convincing 18-8 win at Fresno State on Wednesday afternoon. Oregon junior Shannon Propst continued her stellar play, scoring a career-high five goals, dishing out two assists and totaling a career-best seven points against the Bulldogs. Propst’s first assist of the day, the 58th of her career, went to Sami Kiser at the 19:39 mark in the first half and it moved Propst past Jen May for fourth on Oregon’s all-time assist list.

• Propst’s five goals against Fresno State are tied for the most goals scored by a Duck in a single game this year. Junior Hayley Milner, who finished with four goals on Wednesday at Fresno State, has accomplished the feat twice.

• Oregon freshman Carly O’Connell was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rookie of the Week on Monday night (April 8). It is the second time this season that O’Connell has earned the award; she also received the honor on March 4. O’Connell scored a career-high four goals and handed out three assists, good enough for a career-best seven points against Cal on Sunday (April 7). She also had a goal, an assist, draw control, ground ball and caused turnover against USC.on April 4. O’Connell ranks second on the Ducks in points (31), is fifth in goals (16), second in assists (15) and draw controls (27), is tied for the team lead caused turnovers (13) and is the team-leader in ground balls (22).
