EUGENE – In its continuing effort to grow lacrosse in the state, the Oregon lacrosse team is headed to Portland for a free clinic on Friday.
The clinic will be held at Lake Oswego High School at 7 p.m. UO’s entire coaching staff and several members of the 2011 Ducks will be on hand providing instruction.
“We are excited to travel to Portland,” head coach Jen Larsen said. “The city is becoming a hotbed for lacrosse talent and we are looking forward to continuing to grow the sport.”
Interested participants and Oregon fans are encouraged to show up at 6 p.m., to meet the Ducks as they arrive.
