EUGENE, Ore.- University of Oregon senior attacker Kristina Barrett has been named this week's MPSF Player of the Week, marking the third straight week that a Duck has earned the weekly award, as announced by the organization on Monday.

Barrett joins classmate Jana Drummond, who was last week's recipient and sophomore Shannon Propst, the winner from two weeks ago.

The Severna Park, Md. native tallied a team-high 11 points on five goals and six assists, as the Ducks won at Stanford, 13-7, and Saint Mary's, 16-8, to stay unbeaten in the MPSF over the weekend. Barrett, who has 72 career assists, was able to pull herself to within three assists of tying Theresa Waldron (75, 2005-08) for the all-time school record. Her four points against Stanford helped lead Oregon to a win over the Cardinal for just the second time ever.

Barrett is currently tied for second on the team for total points with 43, coming from 24 goals and a team-high 19 assists.

Having already clinched a spot in the MPSF Tournament, the match between Oregon and Denver on Apr. 21 will not only serve as Senior Day, but will also settle who receives the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament. Action from Pape' Field begins at 1 p.m.
