EUGENE, Ore.- Senior Jana Drummond has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Week, making it the second week straight that a Duck has garnered the honor, as announced the organization on Monday.

Last week sophomore Shannon Propst won the weekly honor.

Drummond picks up the award after she scored 11 goals and tallied one assist, good for 12 points in two key wins over Fresno State and UC Davis to propel the Ducks into first-place in the MPSF. In Friday's game against Fresno State, where Oregon recorded a season-high 21 goals, Drummond was responsible for a team-leading five goals. Sunday, against UC Davis, Drummond tallied six goals, one off her own single-game school record of seven. Two of those six goals came during the 6-0 run to finish the comeback win for UO.

One of four Ducks on the squad that has already eclipsed the 30-point plateau this season, Drummond has recorded 31 points from 23 goals and eight assists. She also leads Oregon in draw controls with 34.

UO (9-4, 4-0 MPSF) heads to California next for two more important matches. The first is against Stanford on Friday (Apr. 13) in Stanford at 7 p.m. and the second on Sunday against St. Mary's in Moraga, Calif. at noon.
