EUGENE, Ore. - The University of Oregon, with the help from Nike, provided 30 tickets in one of the temporary suites on the north rim of Autzen Stadium to deserving middle schools students throughout the Eugene-Springfield area to last Saturday's Oregon-USC football game.
Tickets generously donated by Nike were provided to students who had experienced success in the classroom, and were evenly distributed to students attending Hamilin Middle School in Springfield, Kelly Middle School in the Eugene 4-J District, and Cascade Middle School in the Bethel School District.
Two temporary towers had been constructed along the northwest and northeast corners of the stadium consisting of two suites each, with the capacity of each suite consisting of 30 spectators. The temporary suites added 120 fans to the game's attendance. In addition, the suites included standing room-only space for the 30 patrons who were displaced by the construction of the tower suites.
