VALENCIA, Calif.— The 41st ranked University of Oregon women’s golf team finished the final round of the Pac-12 Championships in seventh place. The three-day, three-round tournament is played at the Valencia Country Club in Valencia, Calif.
The Ducks (303-290-303-896) shot 15-over 303 in the third round of the event and fell one spot in the standings from yesterday.
Sophomore Cassy Isagawa continued her move up the leader board and finished in sixth place, moving up four spots. Isagawa (74-70-71-215) shot one-under 71 on the day and earned a spot on the 2013 All-Conference second-team. Freshman Caroline Inglis (74-72-73-219) shot one-over 73 in the final round. Inglis had her best finish of the spring season, finishing the event in a tie for 11th place.
Oregon also counted scorecards from Cali Hipp (77-74-79-230) who shot seven-over 79 and Avery Sills (78-75-80-233) who carded an eight-over 80. Hipp completed the event in a tie for 30th place and Sills finished in a tie for 36th place with fellow Duck Hanule Sky Seo. Seo (79-74-81-234) shot nine-over 81 in the final round.
On the individual scoreboard, USC’s Annie Park (70-70-69-209) won medalist honors after shooting three-under on the day and seven-under after three days. USC’s Sophia Popov (66-75-70-211) moved up one spot into second place. Stanford’s Mariah Stackhouse (73-67-73-213) and Colorado’s Jennifer Coleman (74-67-72-213) finished four strokes behind the leader and tied for third place overall.
Southern Cal (280-291-282-853) continued their dominance and remained the leader after the final round, finishing 11-under 853 overall. Washington (293-291-293-877) shot five-over on the day and placed second overall, while UCLA (290-292-297-879) sits two strokes behind the Huskies in third place.
