What is an RSS Feed?

An RSS (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) feed is a technology that provides a listing of a website’s content.  This feed is updated automatically anytime new information is available on that website.  Using a news reader like Google Reader or Mozilla Thunderbird a user can subscribe to as many websites as they wish and compile all of the newest information from those sites in one place.
