Jim Loscutoff
Position: Hall of Fame Inductee
Other Position: 1995 Inductee, Basketball (1950-1955)

His retired Celtics jersey hung proudly from the rafters of the NBA’s legendary Boston Garden. Likewise, his exploits as a phenomenal rebounder and unbridled free spirit hang in the memories of those who saw him play basketball for Oregon and dubbed him “Jungle Jim.”

Renowned for physical play, he believed each ball that came off the backboard rightfully was his. His 17.2 rebounds per game in 1954-55 proved many of them were.  He played but 57 games as a Duck but still ranks fourth in career rebounding.
