Clifton "Pat" McArthur
Position: Hall of Fame Inductee
Other Position: 1999 Inductee, Student Body President (1897-1901)

The famed McArthur Court was named after the school’s first student body president (1897-1901) who fulfilled the duties as the school’s first athletics director. McArthur proposed the student referendum to build a new on-campus basketball pavilion paid by student fees, which was actually built two decades later. His distinguished career included a stint in the House of Representatives.
