Lavasier Tuinei was a key contributor in the Oregon's 45-38 victory over the Wisconsin Badgers in the Rose Bowl. The senior wide-receiver hauled in 8 passes including 2 touchdowns in an offensive shootout that made the 98th Rose Bowl the highest-scoring affair in the game's history.

Tuinei's touchdowns came at crucial moments in the game. His first score pulled the Ducks even with the Badgers at 28 points a piece going into halftime. His second score at the beginning of the 4th quarter put the Ducks ahead for good, cementing the school's first Rose Bowl victory since 1917.

On the season, Tuinei paced the Ducks in receptions with 48, and receiving touchdowns with 10. His per-game averages of 12.5 yards per catch and 42.8 total receiving yards also ranked as some of the top performances by the Ducks receiving core.
