Senior forward Amanda Johnson led the charge for the Ducks as they were perfect this weekend against Utah and Colorado, marking their first weekend-sweep since early last season.
In her first full weekend back from injury, Johnson paced Oregon in both scoring and rebounds for both contests. She tallied 19 points and 12 boards against the Utes, while dropping 26 and snaring 8 rebounds against the Buffaloes.
Despite her absence from the Ducks' lineup, AJ has been recognized for her prowess both on and off the court. Recently, she has been named as an Academic All-American, and to the Capitol One All-Academic District VIII First Team.
Johnson has also been named one of 10 finalists for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, a prestigious national award to the top senior athlete for both men's and women's basketball. Fans are encouraged to vote for Amanda on Facebook and seniorCLASSaward.com, as fans account for a third of the final vote.
Look for AJ to continue to light it up on the court as the Ducks make a push for post-season play.
