2009 — The eight-game starter developed into a clutch receiver, latching onto passes in his last 10 appearances . . . The team's fourth-leading receiver grabbed a single-game high four passes for 45 yards and one score at Washington before responding with three grabs for 31 yards against USC . . . Added three catches for 34 yards against California in his debut in the starting lineup before returning the following week vs. Washington State to claim two receptions for 21 yards . . . Also included a 21-yard scoring reception at Stanford among his two grabs for 25 yards . . . Accumulated 23 catches for 233 yards and two scores in 2009 . . . Made the team's biggest improvement in the electronic 40-yard dash during 2010 off-season workouts while turning in the fastest time among the school's wide receivers, bettering his time to 4.62 . . . Also paced all teammates at his position with a 308-lb. clean and a 325-lb. bench press, in addition to sharing top honors with a 31-inch vertical jump.

2008 — Sophomore campaign cut short after suffering torn knee ligaments against Stanford Nov. 8 … Totaled five receptions for 85 yards on the year … Two catches for 51 yards against the Cardinal, including a career-long 45-yard reception … Two catches for 15 yards at Cal … Made one grab for 19 yards at USC … Led team with average of 17.0 yards per reception … Appeared in all nine games prior to the injury.

2007 —
Enhancing his contribution by graduating from high school early in order to take part in spring drills, the true freshman caught three passes for 35 yards and one touchdown in 12 games … Early jump on the competition contributed to him stepping onto the field early before production waned some down the stretch … Included among season totals were two catches for 28 yards and one score during extensive action (26 plays) in front of ESPN’s “Game Day” crew and a national audience in the win vs. Arizona State.

HIGH SCHOOL —
The SuperPrep All-American ranked among the top 20 prep receivers in the country as well as among the top 15 players in the Midlands section by the recruiting service … Gathered four-star recognition by Rivals.com and Scout.com in addition to receiving votes on the Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West balloting … Accumulated 30 receptions for 567 yards and nine touchdowns his senior year for a team which finished with a 2-8 record after posting 45 catches for 988 yards and 16 scores as a junior … National stock soared prior to 2006 season following exposure at West Coast combine, which resulted in elevating him among top prospects in Colorado … His outstanding character epitomized by him receiving the 16th annual Watkins Memorial Award as the nation’s top African American male high school scholar athlete.
