HIGH SCHOOL — Attracted all-San Gabriel Valley and all-CIF Southwest Division offensive honors his senior year in addition to all-San Antonio League acclaim on both offense and defense … Rebounded from injuries from his junior year to compile 1,150 yards rushing while averaging better than 7.0 yards per carry for the Bulldogs … Also grabbed 30 passes for 436 yards while accumulating 12 touchdowns … Set school records while averaging better than 38 yards per kickoff return and more than 18 yards in punt returns for the league tri-champions … Added 76 tackles and four interceptions on defense … Awarded all-league plaudits at running back as a sophomore, carrying the ball 90 times for 850 yards and six scores, including a school-record 96-yard TD run.
