2009 — Consistency has been one of the themes for the first-year starter as Oregon's leading tackler (66) has averaged 6.6 tackles per game to rank ninth in the Pac-10 . . . Broke into the starting lineup with a career-high nine tackles at Boise State, and equaled that effort (including 7 unassisted) at UCLA . . . Yet bettered those marks sharing a game-high 12 tackles at Stanford . . . HIGH SCHOOL — A running back and safety in high school, he racked up 1,480 yards rushing on 178 carries, 417 yards receiving and 27 total touchdowns in 2006 … Also had six interceptions on defense … Had 887 yards on 140 rushing attempts and 12 TDs during his junior season, in addition to four receptions for 169 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown catch in 2005. Considered a wide receiver prospect by Scout.com out of high school.
