PERSONAL —
Born Kenjon Fa’terrel Barner on April 28, 1989 in Lynwood, Calif. Parents: Gary and Wilhelmenia Barner. Family: Five brothers, one sister. High School (Coach): Riverside Notre Dame (Pat Thompson) 2008. Major: Communications. Redshirt: 2008.

2009 —
Led the Ducks with a game-high 156 all-purpose yards against UCLA, thanks in large part to his 100-yard kickoff return for a score to provide the second-half spark . . . Also added a career-high 50 rushing yards in the Rose Bowl . . . Helped Oregon answer USC's opening field goal by returning ensuing kickoff 77 yards to provide Ducks with field position which they converted into a first-quarter game-tying field goal . . . Added 40 yards on five carries vs. Washington State to go along with his 40 yards in punt returns and 30 yards in kickoff returns, and provided 120 all-purpose yards at Washington . . . Scored his first collegiate touchdown against Purdue, coverting a 3-and-19 situation into a 21-yard scoring run . . .
Finished game with 34 yards rushing . . . Supplied his second rushing TD vs. the Trojans as part of his 24 rushing yards . . . Returned kickoffs of 26 yards against California, 27 against Utah, 24 yards vs. Purdue and 29 yards at Boise State . . . Accumulated 173 yards in kickoff returns at Stanford, in addition to scoring his second rushing TD (1 yard) is as many weeks, to garner a season-high 190 all-purpose yards . . . Also added one catch for 7 yards in collegiate debut vs. the Broncos . . . Ranks eighth on Oregon's single-season chart for most kickoff return yardage (630) . . . The Pac-10's third-best kickoff returner ranks 30th in the country in kickoff returns (26.6 avg.).

2008  —
Redshirt season … Earned team’s special teams scout honors leading up to win over Purdue … Defensive scout team award for preparations ahead of USC game.

HIGH SCHOOL —
The PrepStar All-West Region pick was ranked as 38th-best running back in the country by Rivals.com as well as 86th overall prospect in the state … The state’s 2007 rushing and scoring leader finished second in the country in scoring (22.8 avg.) and fourth in rushing (240.3 avg.), tallying 3,124 yards on the ground (7.5 avg.) and 46 overall touchdowns … Looms as one of only three Riverside players ever to run for over 3,000 yards in one season … Included was a season-high 369 rushing yards vs. Laguna Beach, as he eclipsed 300 yards on the ground on three occasions … Also posted 67 tackles (41 unassisted) as the Mountain Pass League’s fourth-leading tackler as a senior, and returned a league-leading six interceptions for 146 yards … Added a pair of fumble recoveries for a return of 91 yards in addition to leading the team in kickoff (28.5 avg.) and punt returns (17.3 avg.) … As a junior, ran for 1,759 yards and 30 scores, in addition to recording 35 tackles and three interceptions on defense … Over the course of his four-year prep tenure, accumulated 10,772 career all-purpose yards (8,178 yards rushing), 144 touchdowns and 362 tackles … GoldenStatePreps.com all-Southern California second-team … Afforded team MVP honors in football and basketball as the league’s scoring leader in both sports while claiming first-team all-CIF applause in football and second-team tributes in basketball.
