2009 — Parlayed his best overall performance of the season into a convincing win over USC and Walter Camp Football Foundation national offensive player of the week . . . Completed 19 of 31 passes for 222 yards and one touchdowns against the Trojans to complement his 164 yards and another score on the ground, with his 386 yards of total offense falling one yard shy of his collegiate best against Arizona a year ago . . . Responded a week later to tally 389 yards of total offense, thanks to a collegiate-high 334 yards passing (21-37) at Stanford . . . Equalled his Oregon best with a trio of TD passes vs. the Cardinal to add to his 3-yard scoring run . . . BEFORE OREGON — The third-team All-American led CCSF to a junior college national title as a freshman in 2007, completing 61.3 percent of his passes (258-of-421) for 3,592 yards and 30 touchdowns … Also rushed for 448 yards and 11 scores … Earned game MVP honors while completing 19 of 33 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Rams to a 31-28 win over Mt. San Antonio College in the state championship contest … The NorCal Conference offensive player of the year threw for a season-high 407 yards (23-36) and six TDs in just over one half in a 51-20 domination of Los Medanos, and added five scoring passes in win over Foothill College … As a prep athlete, Masoli attended Serra High School in San Mateo, Calif., for three years before spending his senior year at St. Louis High School in Hawaii … Earned first-team all-state basketball honors as a prep senior.
