2008 — Stepped out of potential redshirt season in UO’s fifth game, settling into a special teams role and posting a season-high 16 plays at Washington State … Totaled six appearances on the year … Saw the field for 10 plays at Arizona State and vs. Oklahoma State.

HIGH SCHOOL — The SuperPrep four-star prospect was ranked as the 13th-best weakside linebacker recruit in the country by Scout.com as well as a member of the California Top 100 (30th) … Also rated the No. 32 linebacker prospect in the country and 56th overall player in the state by Rivals.com … The Tacoma News Tribune’s Western 100 honoree finished his senior year third in the state in tackles with 204 stops (135 unassisted), a league-leading 8.5 quarterback sacks, 3.5 forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries … Also carried the football for 514 yards (6.9 avg.) and 14 touchdowns … Credited in double figures in tackles in all 13 games in 2007, including a season-high 20 stops vs. St. Mary’s … The PrepStar all-West Region pick earned first-team all-state accolades (calhisports.com) his senior season as well as Defensive Player of the Year on the all-Northern California first team by GoldenStatePreps.com … Helped lead the Trojans to a 9-4 record and third place in the San Joaquin AA League before dropping a 24-21 verdict to St. Mary’s in the sectional semi-finals.
