2009 — Accumulated 21 tackles in seven appearances, with four tackles for loss and one sack . . . Made his debut in the starting lineup against Utah, posting four tackles against the Utes . . . Increased his playing time with each game before a foot injury that forced him to the sidelines for the rest of the regular season prior to the USC game ... Played at least 20 snaps in each of the seven games he appeared in with a season-high 54 plays against both Utah and Purdue.
2008 — Originally expected to redshirt, was called on to fill a special teams void five games into the season … Appeared in six games and totaled five tackles, including a pair of solo stops in his debut at Washington State … Also made a pair of tackles at Oregon State.
HIGH SCHOOL — Earned letters in football, basketball and track at Vacaville High School … Ranked as the 33rd-best strongside linebacker prospect in the country by Scout.com as well as included on its California Top 100 (99th) as one of the state’s top recruits … Named a three-star recruit by Scout.com and two-star recruit by Rivals.com … Finished his senior season ranked third in the Monticello Empire League in tackles with 92 stops (69 unassisted), 5.5 quarterback sacks (3rd in the league) and two interceptions … Included was a season-high 13 tackles vs. Vallejo … Also carried the ball 10 times for 78 yards and grabbed five catches for 155 yards and one touchdown … Helped Mike Papadopoulos’ team take home the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I football championship in 2006 with a 37-36 victory against Merced, the school’s first ever football title.
