EUGENE - ESPN College GameDay, the nation’s premier college football pre-game program making its fourth Eugene appearance this weekend, will stage its production from the Casanova Center parking lot.

The paved parking lot is located parallel to Martin Luther King Blvd. and north of the Casanova Center, and offers a significant view of Autzen Stadium.

Saturday’s two-hour live TV show, presented by The Home Depot, features Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard, and is aired nationally beginning at 7 a.m. (PDT).

The general public and students are encouraged to take part in Saturday’s production, with gates expected to open to spectators at 5:30 a.m.

As a result of the set-up for the show beginning as early as Thursday, parking in the Casanova Center lot for athletics department business, such as the ticket office, will be extremely limited until after Saturday’s Oregon-USC football game. That includes parking for Friday night’s Oregon women’s soccer game vs. the University of Washington. Customers also are encouraged to take advantage of the parking lot behind the Moshofsky Center, which can be accessed via Leo Harris Parkway.

On Saturday morning, the Autzen Stadium east parking lot as well as the Moshofsky Center lot will be available only for patrons holding parking passes for that night’s football game. The lots will open at 5:30 a.m. and will allow fans with parking passes to remain there until after the conclusion of the game.

To add to the festivities, The Duck Store, located in the northwest corner of Oregon’s indoor practice facili-ty, will open at 6:30 a.m.

All other elements of the Ducks’ regular game-day operation will remain the same. The LTD Sports Shuttles will maintain a regular schedule to and from Autzen Stadium, beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Moshofsky Center will open to the general public three hours prior to kickoff (2 p.m.). Entrance into the stadium will begin 90 minutes prior to the game’s 5 p.m. kickoff.

In addition to ESPN’s College GameDay’s television show, the GameDay audio version on the ESPN Radio Network will broadcast from inside the Moshofsky Center from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday. The separate national production is hosted by Ryen Russillo, Trevor Matich and Brad Edwards.
