EUGENE, Ore. — The University of Oregon men’s basketball team will have at least 17 games broadcast live during the 2005-06 season, including 10 on the Oregon Sports Network.
The Ducks will also be on Fox Sports Net at least five times, including the Pac-10 tournament, CBS once and Fox Sports Bay Area once.
OSN’s first broadcast will be the Nov. 30 game at Vanderbilt. The network will also show the Dec. 17 game at New Mexico, as well as road games at Washington (Jan. 21) and Arizona State (Feb. 11).
The home broadcasts include Oregon State on Dec. 31, USC on Jan. 28, Stanford on Feb. 2, California on Feb. 4, Washington on Feb. 16 and Washington State on Feb. 18.
The Ducks are slated for Fox Sports Net national telecasts from McArthur Court Dec. 3 versus Georgetown, Jan. 14 against Arizona and Jan. 26 versus UCLA, as well as Dec. 10 against Illinois in the Rose Garden and all Pac-10 tournament games except the championship, which will be on CBS.
CBS will televise the Feb. 26 Oregon-UCLA game at Pauley Pavilion, while Fox Sports Bay Area will show the Jan. 7 Oregon at Stanford game locally in Northern California.
OSN has been televising University of Oregon basketball games since 1985. This is also the eighth season that OSN has partnered with ESPN Regional television to broadcast Oregon games.
The tandem of Joe Giansante and Rob Closs return in their roles as play-by-play man and analyst, respectively. OSN affiliates are KEZI-9 in Eugene, Comcast Cable 14 in the Portland area, KDRV-12 in Medford, KDFK-31 in Klamath Falls and Chambers Cable in Bend.
