AS A FRESHMAN • 2007-08 Saw limited playing time at the start of the season, coming off the bench in 17 games...did not appear in the last 13 games of the season, hampered by two separate injuries...first did not play four games (1/24-2/2) with a right quad strain...then sprained the ACL in her left knee, sidelining her for the rest of the year...season ended with her averaging 2.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game...registered career highs of nine points and seven rebounds during her collegiate debut vs. San Jose State (11/10)...other season highlights included providing a spark off the bench, scoring six points and dishing three assists in 24 minutes of action at #10 Baylor (12/12)...knocked down her first three-pointer in loss vs. South Florida (12/18)...played 11 first-half minutes in Pac-10 opener at Oregon State (12/29)...late in the half snagged a steal at half court and was fouled hard on her way to the basket, but made two at the stripe to give the Ducks a four-point lead at the break...played 12 minutes off the bench and drained a three-pointer, while adding two rebounds and two assists in loss to #7 Stanford (1/12)...her defense on Washington’s last possession forced a turnover leading to the Ducks’ 66-64 win at Mac Court (1/19).
HIGH SCHOOL A 2007 graduate of Chief Sealth High School in Seattle...a two-sport athlete for the Seahawks, played four years of basketball for head coach Ray Willis and also ran four years of track in the 100 meters and 100 meter hurdles...as a senior garnered several accolades; named 2007 Metro League MVP, first team all-state, first team all-state tournament, Seattle Times All-Star first team, Seattle PI All-Star team, Street and Smith All-American and Les Schwab Northwest Shootout All-Star game MVP...for four consecutive seasons led Chief Sealth to the King-Co District Championship and four straight state tournament appearances, including winning the state titles in 2005 and 2006, followed by a second place finish in 2007...also won the Metro League in 2006 and 2007... during her four seasons lost a total of only four league games...set the state tournament record with 10 steals in a single game in 2006 ...scored the most points (27) in a single game during the 2006-07 season...during her senior year averaged 15.6 points and 6.0 steals per game...junior year averaged 13.0 points per game...placed third at state track meet in the 100 meter hurdles as a junior..was a two-time Chief Sealth Scholar Athlete and as senior won the 101 Club 74th Annual Scholar Athlete Award.
