AS A FRESHMAN • 2008-09 Averaged 7.9 points and a team-leading 5.4 rebounds per game...was named Pac-10 All-Freshman Honorable Mention...became the first freshman in program history since Bev Smith (1978-79) to lead the Ducks in both rebounding (163) and steals (42)...led Oregon in scoring four times during the season, and led the Ducks on the boards a team-best 11 occasions...reached double figures in scoring nine times, and led the team in assists seven times...recorded the first double-double of her career with a team-leading 12 points and 10 rebounds vs. Washington State (02.12)...her eight steals at South Dakota State (11.23) was a Pac-10 season high...the mark also ties for sixth in Oregon single-game program history...scored a season-high 18 points in 77-69 win over Washington (02.14)...made a season-high three 3-pointers and dished a season-high tying five assists vs. UCLA (03.03)....in her collegiate debut, scored 10 points and added 8 rebounds in season-opening 69-68 victory at San Jose State (11.15)...in her Pac-10 debut, scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds at USC (01.02)...led the Ducks with 13 points in 51-45 victory over Wyoming on Nov. 29.
HIGH SCHOOL A 2008 graduate of Maria Carrillo High School in Santa Rosa, Calif...lettered four years on the varsity soccer team for head coach Debra LaPrath...also lettered four years on the varsity basketball squad for head coach Steve Azevedo...was named the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat All-Empire Female Player of the Year for three consecutive years (2006-08)...on the basketball court, scored over 2000 points during her high school career for the Pumas...as a senior led Maria Carrillo to a 28-2 overall record and a North Bay League Championship with a 14-0 record...averaged 24.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game as a senior, and was named the PAC Athlete of the Year as well as the Female Athlete of the Year at Maria Carrillo...also during her senior season received the Coaches Award...as a junior, the Pumas were co-NBL champions and Johnson was named team MVP after leading the squad to a 22-5 record...was a NorCalPreps.com top-15 prospect...on the soccer field, played central defender for the Pumas.
CLUB Played from 2005-07 with Gym Rats (Santa Rosa) and head coach Steve Azevedo...played four different positions ranging from shooting guard to center...also played her senior season with Just Believe Sports (Sacramento) and coach Sean Chambers...her teammates that went on to play collegiately include; Malia Duncan and Madison Meade (Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville), Ariel Gregerson (Cal Poly), Sam Messersmith (Seattle University), Katie Kittles (Westmont) Kim Crandall (San Francisco) and Brittany Woodard (Nevada).
