Arguably the best collegiate women’s javelin thrower in the country returns for her final season. Won her first NCAA javelin title at the Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, as a junior in 2008. The three-time Pac-10 Champion and three-time NCAA West Region Champion holds the school and league marks in the event at 191-1. Is the first three-time Pac-10 champion in the same event in school history. Won the bronze medal in the javelin at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials. The three-time All-American will attempt to match Inga Stasiulionyte’s (USC) record of four consecutive Pac-10 javelin titles, as well as join the pantheon inhabited only by UCLA’s Sheena Johnson (400 meter hurdles), UCLA’s Amy Acuff (high jump), Stanford’s Erica McLain (triple jump) and Stasiulionyte, who are the only four competitors in league history who have won four consecutive Pac-10 titles. Her personal best of 191-1 ranks sixth all-time amongst both all American throwers and all collegians. Is a four-time USA Championships qualifier. As a prep, set the national junior and high school record (176-5).

2007-08: One of the best javelin seasons in school history included an NCAA Championship, a bronze medal at the U.S. Olympic Trials, a Pac-10 and school record in her specialty and her third consecutive conference and NCAA West Regional titles in the event. Finished first in five of six collegiate appearances in 2008. Wasted no time rewriting the record books when she threw a Pac-10 and Oregon record 191-1 at the Oregon Relays in April. Claimed her third straight Pac-10 javelin title with a throw of 184-0. Added her third straight NCAA West Regional crown with a throw of 180-11. Won her first NCAA javelin national title with a toss of 185-7.5. Also added her third career All-America honor. Capped season by capturing the bronze at the U.S. Olympic Trials with a throw of 185-1. Season Bests: Outdoors - Javelin - 191-1 (PR), Oregon Relays, Eugene, Ore. (4/25/08).

2006-07: All-American in the javelin. Notched fifth-place NCAA Championships finish and then added her second top-six finish in the USA Championships (sixth). Added second Pac-10 and Regional titles the weeks before and was undefeated against collegians during the regular season. Topped her preseason best in three of the first six meets of the season, including school records in the Oregon Preview and Clif Bar ASU Invitational. Was also a Pac-10 and Regional All-Academic choice. Season Bests: Outdoors - Javelin - 189-11, Clif Bar ASU Invitational, Tempe, Ariz. (3/24/07).

2005-06: All-American in the javelin. Finished seventh as the top freshman in the NCAA Championships javelin (165-2) after she won West Regional (165-7) and Pac-10 (166-3) titles. Opened career with 3 foot, 5 inch personal best to win the Oregon Preview in mid-March at home (179-10). In following meet, logged second best mark of the season in the Trojan Invitational in Los Angeles (174-0). Altogether, eclipsed the 160-foot line in all nine of her outdoor contests and won seven. In fall, played volleyball for Ducks. Seasonal Bests: Outdoors - Javelin - 179-10, Oregon Preview, Eugene, Ore. (3/18/06).

Prep: All-American. The Track and Field News All-America honoree led the national javelin rankings with then-personal bests as a senior (176-5) and junior (161-11), and stood third as a sophomore (157-9). In the summer of her senior season in 2005, won the Golden West Invitational (167-5), and USA Junior Championships (166-1), then took fifth in the USA Outdoor Championships (170-3). Ended season in late July with win in Pan-American Junior Championships (172-6). At the 4A state championships, won javelin titles as a senior (172-8) and junior (148-4), and nabbed second as a sophomore (143-8).
