AS A JUNIOR • 2008:
For the second consecutive season was named to the IWLCA West/Midwest All-Region second team...was also named to the MPSF all-conference team and MPSF all-tournament team for the second straight year...a cornerstone in Oregon’s defensive midfield, she was one of eight players to start all 20 games in 2008...also one of the main reasons the Ducks set a new program record, allowing just 9.81 goals per game, a mark that was second in the MPSF...finished the season second on the team with 35 ground balls...was also third on the team with 26 draw controls, as Oregon set a new program record winning 255 draws and finishing third in the MPSF with 2.55 per game...also tied for second on the team with 16 caused turnovers...scored two goals on the season, one vs. Denver on April 5 and the other in a 9-8 victory over California (May 2) during the third-place game of the MPSF Tournament...was also named to the MPSF all-academic team.

AS A SOPHOMORE • 2007: Produced a breakout season, starting all 19 games...was one of three Oregon players named to the IWLCA all-Region second team...also named to the MPSF all-conference team and the MPSF all-tournament team...received the Grinder award, voted on by her teammates, which recognizes the team’s hardest worker...a staunch defender, she led the team in ground balls collected (48) and was second in caused turnovers (23)...also was key in helping the Ducks take possession, controling 38 draws during the year... (second on the team)...played the most minutes of any Duck, remaining on the field for 970, nearly 85 percent of the team’s total minutes....received her first MPSF All-Academic Honor with a 3.26 gpa in Human Physiology...will serve as one of three team captains in 2008 with Jen May and Cara Mead.

AS A FRESHMAN • 2006: Made appearances in all 19 games, starting 16...picked up 29 ground balls and controlled 24 draws...caused 18 turnovers...had six points with four goals and two assists.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned six letters during a solid high school campaign in lacrosse as well as soccer...all county and all-American honorable mention...member National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Born Alicia Ashman Burkhart on Feb. 13, 1987 in Baltimore, Md...has one brother, Jacob, 22.
