DALLAS – The University of Oregon's dominant 62-51 victory against No. 18 USC earned the Ducks Tostitos Fiesta Bowl National Team of the Week along with the University of Alabama, which also won a crucial conference road contest, beating fifth-ranked LSU.

The Ducks (9-0, 6-0 Pac-12), ranked second nationally to the Crimson Tide (9-0, 6-0 SEC) in the latest AP poll, scored nine offensive touchdowns for the second straight week and their 730 yards and 62 points were the most ever allowed by USC in its storied 124-year football history.

Senior running back Kenjon Barner broke the USC opponents' rushing record by the end of the third quarter and freshman quarterback Marcus Mariota threw more touchdown passes than incompletions, going 20-of-23 for 304 yards and four scores. Mariota added 96 rushing yards and set a career best with 400 yards of total offense.

This week marked the first time in the 11 seasons of the team of the week award that the honor has been split.
