THE SERIES
•USC holds a 38-20-2 all-time advantage against Oregon, but the Ducks are 10-6 in the series since 1994. The two teams haven't met in Los Angeles since a 62-51 Oregon win in 2012. Oregon beat USC 48-28 in Eugene last season.

•Oregon has scored 20-plus points in 38 straight games, the nation's longest active streak.
•In the Washington game, FR QB Justin Herbert became the first true freshman at Oregon to start at quarterback since 1983. In his second start at California, Herbert tied the Oregon single-game record for TD passes with six. In his third start, Herbert set a school record for total offense (512) and tied the single-game passing record (489).
•Herbert's 12 TD passes in his first three starts matches the most TD passes in a three-game stretch in school history. He tied Marcus Mariota (2012) and Joey Harrington (2000).
•FR LB Troy Dye is one of five true freshmen nationwide to lead his team in tackles. Dye and FR S Brenden Schooler are the only freshmen (true or RS) on a FBS team to rank first and second in tackles.
• Dye was the first true freshman at Oregon to start the opener at linebacker in over 38 years.
•JR RB Royce Freeman moved up one spot during the ASU game to 14th all-time in Pac-12 career rushing, while remaining 11th all-time on the conference career rushing touchdowns list. The Ducks' running back needs 255 yards to crack the top 10 in rushing.
•Oregon has had a 1,000-yard rusher each of the last nine seasons, the longest active streak in the country. During that stretch, the Ducks have had 10 backs rush for over 1,000 yards.
•Freeman needs 12 all-purpose yards against USC to move into eighth on the career list at Oregon.
•JR K Aidan Schneider is the most accurate kicker in Oregon history making 90.9 percent (40-of-44) of his field goal attempts.
•The Ducks have started 16 underclassmen (10 freshmen, 6 sophomores) on either offense or defense this season. The list includes three true freshmen, six redshirt freshmen, four offensive linemen and 10 defensive players.
•Oregon started eight freshmen (5 redshirt, 3 true) and five sophomores in its last game.
