Trinder Suffers Season-Ending Injury

After suffering a knee injury this week in practice, Megan Trinder will be out for the remainder of the season.
EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon women's basketball guard Megan Trinder suffered a knee injury in practice this week and will be out for the remainder of the 2016-17 season.
Trinder, who missed all of the 2015-16 season with an ACL injury, suffered a similar injury on Wednesday in the same left knee. After redshirting due to injury last season, Trinder is a junior this season and will be a senior next year.
"We are so sad to see Megan injured again," said head coach Kelly Graves. "She has played really well this season and we will need other people to step up at the point guard position. Megan is also such a great teammate and leader, we will miss her in that regard as well. Megan worked incredibly hard to overcome her injury last year and I have no doubt that she will do it again."
