Sabrina Ionescu has been named the Pac-12 freshman of the week for the third time this season.
EUGENE, Ore. - Women's basketball guard Sabrina Ionescu has been named the Pac-12 freshman of the week for the third time this season, the league announced Monday.
Ionescu led the Ducks with 17.5 points over two games against No. 11 Oregon State. She posted a double-double on Sunday in Corvallis with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Ruthy Hebard won the award last week, giving the Ducks back-to-back freshman of the week honors and five on the season.

• 2 GP, 17.5 ppg, 8.0 rpg, .419 (13-31), .833 FT (5-6), 7 ast, 2 stl, 0 blk
• Tallied 14 points to go with six rebounds and two assists in the Ducks' 40-43 loss to No. 11 Oregon State on Friday.
• On Sunday in Corvallis, posted her fifth double-double of the season with 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a 60-67 loss to the Beavers.
• Her 21 points were her most in Pac-12 play this season
• This is the third freshman of the week honor for Ionescu and the 19th time for Oregon all-time.
