EUGENE, Ore. – The 2018 season brings a new set of challenges for the Oregon lacrosse team as second-year head coach Katrina Dowd leads the Ducks into the inaugural Pac-12 season.
The schedule is highlighted by seven home games and four first-ever meetings for the Ducks. Full schedule here.
Oregon begins its first full season in the Pac-12 conference on Feb. 16, hosting former MPSF rival UC Davis. The Ducks clinched a trip to last season's MPSF Tournament with a come-from-behind win over the Aggies, 10-9, last season.
Following their season opener, the Ducks travel north to take on perennial powerhouse Syracuse in a special game held at West Linn High School in West Linn, Ore. This marks the first-ever meeting between the Ducks and the Orange in an impromptu reunion for assistant coaches Michelle Tumolo and Becca Block, who played at Syracuse from 2010-13.
UO returns to Pape' Field to challenge Canisius (Feb. 26) before traveling to Maryland to take on Towson (Mar. 3) in its first true road game of the season.
The Ducks open the inaugural Pac-12 conference season with home games against California (Mar. 9) and Stanford (Mar. 11).
From there, Oregon travels to Arizona State (Mar. 16) to take on the Sun Devils in their first year as a program before heading to USC (Mar. 18) to close out the two-game road trip.
The squad returns home to face Colorado Mar. 23 before closing out the season with five of their final seven games on the road.
The Ducks take a break from conference play traveling to Vanderbilt (Mar. 28) and East Carolina (Apr. 1) for the first time in program history.
Oregon hosts Arizona State (Apr. 6) and USC (Apr. 8) in its final home games of the season before closing out the year on the road at California (Apr. 13), Stanford (Apr. 15), and Colorado (Apr. 20).
The inaugural Pac-12 Championship will be hosted by Colorado from Apr. 26-29 in Boulder, Colo.
