Fourteen Ducks Earn Pac-12 All-Academic Honors

EUGENE, Ore. — First team selections Taylor Kuroda, Caitlyn Wong and Jessica Yu were among 14 Ducks named to the Pac-12 all-academic teams that were announced Wednesday, as nearly half of the Oregon roster was honored for its excellence in the classroom.

Kuroda is a junior with a 4.10 grade-point average in business administration, Wong is a senior with a 4.00 GPA in Biochemistry, who was recently a Rhodes Scholar finalist, and Yu is a sophomore with a 4.02 GPA in business administration.

Second-team selections for the Ducks included Marissa Everett and Nicole Seaman.

Everett, a junior who holds a 3.89 GPA in humam physiology, led Oregon in goals (five), assists (four), points (14) and shots (44) during the 2017 campaign. She also had three game-winning goals this season and was a CoSIDA District Eight all-academic pick.

Seaman is a junior with a 3.96 GPA in business administration.

Those five were joined by nine honorable mention selections for the Ducks: seniors Abby Morrow, Michelle Rockey and Miranda Schulz, juniors Bayley Bruner, Sofia Chambers, Kyra Fawcett,
Halla Hinriksdottir and Brianne Parsons, and sophomore Alyssa Hinojosa.
