EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon women's tennis head coach Alison Silverio welcomed Julia Lilien to the Duck family Wednesday as the Arizona native inked her NLI to join the class of 2022.
"We are extremely excited to officially welcome Julia to our program," Silverio said. "She has displayed professionalism and integrity throughout the recruiting process. Julia is a tireless worker and will bring a commitment to excellence and enthusiasm to our program. We are grateful to have her join our Duck family!"
Â
Lilien comes to Oregon as the top-ranked girl's tennis player from Arizona and 35th overall according to Tennis Recruiting Network.
The Scottsdale, Ariz., native advanced all the way to the round of 16 at last year's USTA National Winter Championships.
In September, she bounced back to win five matches in a row and the consolation finals after dropping her round of 32 match in the main draw bracket at the USTA National Level 3 Tournament.
Lilien currently sports a 36-21 singles record during her juniors career.
