Oregon Game Notes: Colorado
12/30/17 | Men's Basketball
Oregon and Colorado close out 2017 on Sunday (7 p.m., Pac-12 Networks) with the only regular season meeting between the two teams this season. Oregon does not make the Mountain trip this season.
THE STARTING 5
• 1 - Over the last six games, Oregon is +53 on the boards. The Ducks lead the Pac-12 in rebound margin (+7.7). Friday's game versus Utah was the first time this season that Oregon lost while outrebounding the opponent (now 10-1 on the year).
• 2 – Kenny Wooten has blocked 24 shots over the last five games. He has 46 blocks on the year, which already ranks seventh on the UO single-season list. Wooten joined UO single-season record holder Chris Boucher as the only players in program history with 6 or more blocks in back-to-back games. Wooten had six blocks against both Portland State and Fresno State (and 16 for the week). Boucher had 7 versus Arizona State and 6 against Colorado in back-to-back games in 2016.
• 3 – Dec. 13 against Portland State, Troy Brown Jr. just missed his first career triple-double as a Duck with 10 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. It was his third straight double-double. The last Duck to do that was current Golden State Warrior Jordan Bell, who had double-doubles in his final three games in an Oregon uniform.
• 4 - Nov. 17 against Alabama State, Dana Altman became the 34th NCAA Division I coach to reach 600 career wins all-time. What's more, Altman is one of six active head coaches in NCAA Division I who have posted a winning record for the last 20 consecutive seasons (the other five are in the Hall of Fame).
• 5 - With Paul White unavailable (concussion protocol), the Ducks dressed one of their practice players Friday night, #32 Luke Osborn, a sophomore from Tualatin, Ore. (Tualatin HS).
