Ten Ducks Earn All-Pac-12 Honors

Offensive lineman Tyrell Crosby and receiver Brenden Schooler were named first-team all-Pac-12 on Tuesday, with Schooler honored for his special teams impact.
EUGENE — Senior Tyrell Crosby and sophomore Brenden Schooler represented the Oregon football team on the 2017 Pac-12 all-conference team, as selected by conference coaches and announced Tuesday.
Crosby is a native of Henderson, Nev., who will have the chance to play before a home crowd when the Ducks face Boise State in the Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 16. He started all 12 games in the 2017 regular season and was not credited with a single quarterback pressure or hit allowed.
Schooler earned his all-conference status as a special teams player. Named Oregon's special teams MVP at the Ducks' 2017 banquet Sunday, Schooler had five tackles this fall. He also caught 18 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns.
Running back Royce Freeman, defensive lineman Jalen Jelks and linebacker Troy Dye earned second-team all-conference status for 2017. Freeman rushed for 1,475 yards in his senior season; he earned all-conference honors for the fourth straight year, after being named to the second team as a freshman in 2014, the first team when he set the UO single-season rushing record in 2015, and honorable mention in 2016.
Jelks led the nation among interior linemen with 46 quarterback hurries, according to Pro Football Focus, and was third in the Pac-12 with 15 tackles for loss. Dye was second in the conference with 103 tackles, and repeated on the all-conference team after earning honorable mention as a freshman in 2016.
Oregon's honorable mention all-conference selections for 2017 included defensive back Ugochukwu Amadi, tight end Jacob Breeland, center Jake Hanson, cornerback Arrion Springs and offensive lineman Calvin Throckmorton. Hanson and Throckmorton also earned honorable mention all-conference honors in 2016.
