02/07/17 | Women's Soccer
EUGENE, Ore. – Head coach Kat Mertz announced that the Oregon women's soccer team will play five home matches at Papé Field as part of the team's 2017 spring schedule.
The Ducks will first kick-off the spring in Portland with a closed scrimmage against the Portland Thorns on Saturday, April 8.
"This is our most competitive spring schedule yet," Mertz said. "Adding the Thorns game is a nice addition. We have a fairly large spring roster with a lot of young players. The springs is a great time to see multiple players in different positions and allow some growth and development for the younger players."
On Friday, April 14, the Ducks will return home to Papé Field for a 5:00 p.m. match against Gonzaga. Two weekends later on Saturday, April 29, the Ducks will host a spring Civil War against the Beavers of Oregon State. Action is set to begin at 3:00 p.m.
Oregon will play a 7v7 Tournament at Papé Field on Sunday, April 30 in conjunction with raising awareness and funds for the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
Seattle Pacific University will travel to Eugene on Saturday, May 6 for a 4:00 p.m. game against the Ducks. Leading up to the game, Oregon will be hosting a Spring ID Camp from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. More information can be found here -Â bit.ly/2e0eMXF
