Mack, Elish Earn Pac-12 Weekly Awards

Alexis Mack was named Pac-12 player of the week and Miranda Elish was named Pac-12 freshman of the week, the league announced Tuesday.
EUGENE, Ore. - Outfielder Alexis Mack was named Pac-12 player of the week and pitcher Miranda Elish was named Pac-12 freshman of the week, the league announced Tuesday.
The duo join second baseman Lauren Lindvall (player of the week) as Ducks who have won Pac-12 weekly honors this season.
Player of the Week: Alexis Mack, Oregon
• 5 GP, 9 R, 0 HR, 4 RBI, .765 AVG
• Went 13-for-17 (.765) on the week with 2 triples, a double, 4 RBIs, 9 runs scored and no strikeouts to lead Ducks to 5-0 weekend at Mizzou Invitational and school-record 19-game winning streak to open the season.
• Raised season average to .509 on the weekend at the plate.
• Recorded two four-hit games and one three-hit game, while also stealing three bases without being caught.
• Played both left field and second base over the weekend.
Freshman of the Week: Miranda Elish, Oregon
• 4 GP, 11.2 IP, 4-0 record, 0.60 ERA, 9K
• Led Ducks to a perfect weekend at Mizzou Invitational and school-record 19-game winning streak by going 2-0 with a 0.60 ERA in three games, two starts, striking out nine while surrendering only one run on three hits in 11.2 IP.
• Was an important part in the Ducks' 14-0 win over Maryland, with a two-hit shutout with three strikeouts in a five-inning complete-game win.
• Also contributed with the bat, driving in a run with an RBI single in 8-0 win over Butler.
