"The key to the win was our defense which we picked up in the last quarter," Cazorla told FIBA.com after the win. "I have to give credit to Slovenia as they really are a great team and difficult to play against. It feels special to win the title again and I can't believe it!"
This is the fifth time Cazorla has won gold with the Spanish national program. Spain has won six of the last seven U20 European titles. Cazorla tallied nine points and a tournament-high six assists in the championship game. She averaged 7.1 points, 3.0 assists and 1.9 rebounds over seven games.
