Nine Ducks Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

Cody Danielson, Sam Prakel, Cullen Prena, Mick Stanovsek, Alli Cash, Samantha Nadel, Maggie Schmaedick, Emma Abrahamson and Madeline Middlebrooks have all earned USTFCCCA all-academic honors
EUGENE, Ore. – Nine Oregon track and field student-athletes have earned all-academic honors from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced on Friday.
The Men of Oregon landed senior Cody Danielson, juniors Sam Prakel and Cullen Prena and freshman Mick Stanovsek on the USTFCCCA all-academic team, while seniors Alli Cash, Samantha Nadel, Maggie Schmaedick and juniors Emma Abrahamson and Madeline Middlebrooks received the honor for the Women of Oregon.
Prakel boasted the top GPA among the Ducks eligible for the all-academic recognition, boasting a 3.88 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Prena finished the year with a 3.62 GPA, while Danielson was right behind with a 3.61. Stanovsek rounds out the honorees for the Men of Oregon with a 3.49 GPA based on a 4.0 scale.
For the Women of Oregon, Cash, who competed indoors but redshirted the outdoor season, finished with the top GPA on a 4.0 scale among eligible Ducks at 3.75, with Schmaedick close behind at 3.73. Abrahamson and Nadel each maintained GPAs of 3.64, and Middlebrooks finished out the group of all-academic recipients with a 3.57 GPA.
