Sabally, Ionescu Sweep Pac-12 Weekly Awards for Third Time

EUGENE, Ore. - For the third time this season, guard Sabrina Ionescu and forward Satou Sabally have swept the Pac-12's player and freshman of the week awards, the league announced Tuesday.
This is the third straight player of the week win for Ionescu and fifth overall this year. Sabally has now been named freshman of the week three times this season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Sabrina Ionescu, SO, G, Oregon (Walnut Creek, Calif.)
2 GP, 24.5 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 17-39 (.436), 4-4 FT (1.000), 18 ast, 4 stl, 1 blk
• Became the NCAA's new career triple-doubles leader after posting her eighth with 24 points, 10 assists and a career-high 14 rebounds in a 93-84 win over Washington.
• Set the national mark in just 48 career games.
• Averaged 24.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 9.0 assists in a pair of wins over UW and WSU (89-56), also combining for 11 three-pointers.
• Has tallied 10+ assists in six games this season and 10+ rebounds in six games as well.
• 49th weekly honor for Oregon, third-consecutive and fifth of the season for Ionescu, and sixth all-time for the sophomore guard.

• The freshman starter helped Oregon to wins against Washington State (89-56) and Washington (93-84) to open Pac-12 play.
• Scored 14 points to go with five steals in the win over the Cougars while scoring 13 points with seven assists against the Huskies.
• Averaging 12.5 points on 51.5 percent shooting on the season.
• 23rd freshman honor for Oregon all-time, third honor for Sabally.
