Oregon Athletics is one of very few financially self-sustaining athletic departments in the country, receiving no direct university funding or student fees. Every dollar we spend is generated through ticket sales, media rights, sponsorships, and, most importantly, philanthropic support.
With the House v. NCAA settlement ushering in a new era of college athletics, your support is more critical than ever. The settlement allows us to directly support more student-athletes through scholarships and revenue sharing. Oregon must fully fund these commitments to sustain championship-level success.

Can I give to an individual sport program?
Absolutely! Many of our donors choose to support the teams and programs they’re most passionate about. While we encourage all of our patrons to give based on their particular interests, gifts directed to a specific sport are classified as restricted, which means priority point allocation will vary from unrestricted contributions to the Duck Athletic Fund.

Is my gift to Oregon Athletics tax deductible?
We encourage you to consult a tax adviser regarding all contributions in order to understand how these changes could affect you. The University of Oregon Foundation will issue formal charitable contribution receipts soon after the end of the calendar year in accordance with the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and IRS Publication 1771.
